Circa 1922 gelatin silver photographic postcard of the 30-block of Smith Street, featuring 35 Smith and neighboring buildings. Includes partial views of 37 Smith, the turret of 39 Smith Street, the gate of 41 Smith Street, the east elevation of 151 Wentworth Street, and the southwest elevation (piazzas) of 149 Wentworth Street. 35 Smith Street is no longer standing. Date of demolition unknown. Postcard is postmarked April 19, 1922. Verso of postcard indicates that the photograph was taken by the sender (F.H.L.) and made into a postcard. |
