Constructed ca. 1796; restored ca. 1968. Frederick Wolfe built this simple 2½ story, weatherboarded house after the fire of 1796. After Wolfe's death his widow and her second husband conveyed the building to Thomas N. Gadsden, the wealthy investor who lived at 116 Broad Street.
