    Constructed ca. 1792; rehabilitated ca. 1930. A Scottish merchant and planter built this, the largest of all the buildings in Rainbow Row, after acquiring the site in 1792. A previous tenement belonging to the English merchant George Seaman was destroyed in the fire of 1778.
