Constructed 19th century; rehabilitated in 1992. Two-story brick masonry warehouse building with parapeted gable end facing Prioleau Street and 7-bay deep side elevation along Mid-Atlantic Wharf. Openings to both levels are oversized rounded-arched cargo entries. (Source: Part I Certification) Four files contain documentation of the current easement on the property including related correspondence and Confirmation of Understanding; Part I certification (National Register); appraisal and IRS form 8283; documentation of the prior easement (extinguished after foreclosure action); annual inspection reports, requests for alterations, and correspondence related to the management of the property; newspaper article (1995) about buildings that won that year's Carolopolis Award, including this building, with very scant information. The files may eventually contain annual inspection reports, requests for alterations, and correspondence related to the management of the property during the current easement.
