Title Cannon Street (General)

Scope & Content Named for Daniel Cannon, a house carpenter and most influential mechanic in Charleston, called Daddy Cannon. A large landowner and had a large lumber mills. Acquired land in 1762, and conveyed it in 1800. (Source: Charleston Streets website)
