The scale is 900 feet to an inch. Features locations of Fire Alarm Boxes (indicated by red numbers), and public buildings, with indexes to same. The map is "presented by A.R. Thomlinson, manufacturer of harness, saddles, bridles, etc., dealer in bits, stirrups, whips, collars, lap robes, horse clothing and everything pertaining to a first class harness and saddlery establishment..." A.R. Thomlinson was located at 137 Meeting Street.
